Being among Gods’ Vigilant grants you:

1. A Dei Vigilare ring, which amplifies the power of your spiritual faith to aid your mortal defense and which, if you are slain, cremates your remains and houses them in a protective funerary urn to prevent your mortal remains from being perverted into a form of the undead.
2. Being able to buy a Dei Shield (Roman Scutum-style shield) at a Dei Vigilare Chapel, giving greater defense but at a greater cost (20 gp).
3. Being able to acquire the Devotion skills (1, 2, and 3) at a Dei Vigilare Chapel.
4. Being able to acquire the Pius Amulet as a Dei Vigilare Chapel (initial acquisition requires minimum Piety score of 15 and a cost of 10 gp. Upgrades up to level 10 are possible, at ever increasing minimum Piety score requirements and gp cost. On very rare occasions, The Gods of Light see fit to upgrade a Pius Amulet on Their Own).
5. Having the right to call on other of Gods’ Vigilant in times of life-threatening danger.
6. The possibility of holy quests or tasks to perform on behalf of the Dei Vigilare, or any of its Arms.
